Lieutenant Ronald Geml |
Lt. Geml joined the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office in 1979 as a
Dispatcher.
He was promoted to Corrections Officer
in 1981.
He attended the Police academy in January 1985 and was promoted to Deputy in
June 1985.
During his time as a Deputy, he served
in the Traffic bureau,
Detective bureau Investigator and
served as the Community Policing
Officer for Harrison Township.
He also worked as an undercover officer for the
Macomb Auto Theft Squad. He is certified as an Evidence Technician,
Breathalyzer Operator, Field Training Officer, Communications Training Officer
and Motor Carrier Officer.
He was promoted to Sergeant1 in October 1998 and served in the
Detective Bureau and
Dispatch/911 Command.
He was promoted to full Sergeant in January 2001 and was assigned as the Circuit
Court Command Officer.
In July 2003 he was promoted to Lieutenant and is currently assigned as the
Day Shift Uniform Services Division.
