SWAT team called inMembers of the Macomb County Sheriff's Office's SWAT team Thursday arrested a 22-year-old Mount Clemens man after he initially refused to surrender on charges he violated his parole. Hank Roger Schatz faces charges related to his failing to appear in Macomb County Circuit on a parole violation, said Mount Clemens police Lt. Brian Krutell. The parole stemmed from an initial felony charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a minor, Krutell said. Police had gone to a home on Robertson Street seeking the man around 11 a.m., but he failed to come out of the house after repeated requests, police said. Schatz finally surrendered without incident after the Special Weapons and Tactics team ignited a flash-charge noisemaker in the adjacent yard, scaring him out at around 3 p.m. No one was injured.
